No Place Like Home

When Dominic Wilcox was commissioned to create a pair of shoes for the Global Footprint project in Northamptonshire, he got inspiration from the Wizard of Oz Dorothy character who could be transported home by clicking the heels together and designed this pair of shoes that can guide you home.

No more iPhone strolling, there's no need of understanding a map pointer anymore, the experience is all that matters here.

I'm sure this is just the beginning, and that these idea can be further improved to avoid physical connection cables or to signal heights... Yet it's just one more thing that reminds us how seamlessly technology can be integrated into everyday life to improve it.
