This is not a hanger

I couldn't resist smiling when I saw this.

A fire sprinkler that was so practical to use as a coat hanger that it was necessary to put a sign alerting people not to use it as such.

The bizarre thing?
I'm quite sure this object is actually more useful in hanging your pressed shirt than it is in putting out fires!
